4. Pet-Training Records and Trainer Access
When a pet parent submits a training request or works with a trainer, FurPalGo may make relevant request details, intake responses, pet information, uploaded media, training records, scheduling information, and communications available to that trainer. A trainer may add evaluations, plans, session notes, homework, feedback, and progress information to the training case.
Trainers are expected to use information obtained through FurPalGo only to evaluate requests, provide training services, communicate with clients, maintain appropriate business records, address safety or disputes, and comply with applicable law and FurPalGo requirements.
If a request is declined, a case ends, a trainer leaves FurPalGo, or an account is closed, access may be limited or removed. Some records may still be retained by FurPalGo or a service provider as described in Section 11.
5. AI-Assisted Features
FurPalGo may use artificial intelligence service providers to help create draft intake questions, training analyses, training plans, session materials, homework, summaries, and other training-related content. Information submitted through training requests, intake forms, trainer instructions or notes, owner submissions, and related records may be processed by these providers to produce the requested content.
AI-generated content is intended to assist pet parents and trainers. It may be incomplete or inaccurate and may be reviewed, edited, accepted, or rejected by a trainer. AI-generated content is not veterinary advice, a medical diagnosis, or emergency guidance. Contact a licensed veterinarian or an appropriate emergency provider when professional or urgent assistance is needed.
We require service providers to process information for authorized business purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards. Provider-specific retention and model-improvement practices may depend on the service and FurPalGo's account configuration. FurPalGo will not use private training-case content to train a general-purpose FurPalGo model unless we provide appropriate notice and obtain any consent required by law.
6. Messaging and Communications
Messages exchanged through FurPalGo may be stored and reviewed by authorized personnel or service providers when reasonably necessary for service delivery, safety, dispute resolution, quality assurance, customer support, and prevention of fraud or abuse. Some messages may be delivered through email, SMS, or push notifications based on your settings.
You may adjust certain notification preferences in your account or device settings. Transactional, safety, legal, and account-related communications may still be sent when necessary.
7. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information as described below.
7.1 Other users and service participants
We disclose information to pet parents, sitters, trainers, and other participants as needed to evaluate requests, arrange and provide services, communicate, process bookings, support training cases, and resolve issues.
7.2 Service providers
We may disclose information to vendors that provide cloud hosting, data storage, payment processing, payouts, identity verification, background checks, artificial intelligence, analytics, communications, notifications, customer support, fraud prevention, security, auditing, and professional services. These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for FurPalGo or as otherwise permitted by law and contract.
7.3 Legal, safety, and enforcement purposes
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory requests; protect rights, safety, property, users, pets, or the public; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
7.4 Business transactions
Information may be disclosed as part of due diligence or transferred in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
7.5 With your direction or consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, request an integration or service, make information public, or otherwise provide consent.
FurPalGo does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers for monetary payment. We do not disclose personal information for another party's independent direct marketing without permission.
8. Public Profiles and User-Generated Content
Profile names, profile photos, biographies, sitter or trainer qualifications, services, rates, availability, reviews, ratings, pet photos designated for public display, and similar profile content may be visible to other users or the public.
Private messages, intake responses, training records, session notes, homework submissions, and training media are not intended to be public. They may be accessible to participants in the applicable service and to authorized FurPalGo personnel and service providers as described in this Policy.
Do not include sensitive personal information in public content. Before uploading photographs, audio, or video containing another person, a child, a private residence, a license plate, or other identifying information, make sure you have authority and any permission required to share it.
9. Background Checks and Verification
FurPalGo or its service providers may collect and process identity, eligibility, credential, reference, and background-check information for sitters, trainers, or other service providers. A third-party provider may collect information directly under its own privacy notice. FurPalGo may receive status information, verification results, reports, or other information permitted by law.
10. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, software development kits, pixels, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to:
- Maintain sessions and authenticate users.
- Remember preferences and filters.
- Operate app features and show relevant nearby services.
- Measure performance, diagnose errors, understand feature usage, and improve the Services.
- Protect accounts and prevent fraud or abuse.
You can control cookies through browser settings and certain device or app settings. Disabling essential technologies may prevent parts of the Services from working correctly. Where required by law, we will provide additional choices or obtain consent for nonessential technologies.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, protecting safety, enforcing agreements, and satisfying tax, accounting, insurance, and legal obligations. Retention may vary based on the type of information, the status of an account or case, and applicable law.
| Information category | General retention approach |
|---|---|
| Booking and transaction records | Generally retained for seven years when needed for tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations. |
| Messages | Generally retained for six months after the relevant service or case ends, but may be retained longer for safety, support, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal requirements. |
| Temporary AI-assisted chat history | Generally retained for one month, unless incorporated into a training case or retained longer for security, support, or legal needs. |
| Training-case records | Retained while the case or account is active and afterward as reasonably necessary to provide records, support continuity, address disputes or safety, and meet legal or business obligations. |
| Training photos, audio, and video | Retained while needed for the training case or purpose for which it was uploaded, unless removed sooner or retained longer for a dispute, safety matter, or legal obligation. |
| Profiles and user content | Generally retained until deleted, the account is closed, or the information is no longer needed, subject to exceptions described in this section. |
| Verification, security, and support records | Retained for periods reasonably necessary to verify providers, protect the Services, investigate incidents, provide support, and comply with law. |
When you request deletion, some information may be retained where permitted or required for legal compliance, payments and taxes, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, recordkeeping, or enforcement. We may also retain deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Depending on the information and system, these measures may include encryption in transit and at rest, secure password hashing, authentication controls, role-based access controls, monitoring, logging, vendor management, and incident-response procedures.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, using a strong and unique password, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized activity.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.

14. Human Health and Sensitive Information
FurPalGo is designed for pet care and pet training, not for human medical or health services. Please avoid providing information about a person's health, disability, diagnosis, medication, or treatment unless it is reasonably necessary to request an accommodation or safely provide the selected service.
If we intentionally collect consumer health data subject to a specific health privacy law, we will provide any additional notice, consent, access, deletion, security, or other protections required by that law.
15. Children's Privacy
